FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP SEWERAGE AUTHORITY
NOTICE REGARDING PROPOSED ADJUSTMENT TO USER RATE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Franklin Township Sewerage Authority (“the Authority”) shall hold a public hearing on proposed adjustments to its user rate charge rate schedule(s) on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. The Authority will conduct an Electronic/Audio Public Meeting in lieu of its in-person regular Public Meeting previously advertised. Participants shall use the same log-in features to access this Hearing as it would to view the overall meeting. Members of the public may access the meeting and call in any questions or comment during the portion of the meeting reserved for public comments. The Authority shall provide evidence at the hearing showing that the proposed adjustments are necessary and reasonable and shall provide the opportunity for cross-examination of such evidence. A transcript of the hearing shall be made and a copy thereof shall be available upon request to any interested party upon payment of a reasonable fee.

In calculating the service charge the Authority shall comply with the terms of its contract(s) and shall be such that the revenues of the Authority will at all times be adequate to pay all expenses of operation and maintenance of the sewerage system.

Any person wishing to comment on the evidence pertaining to the proposed user rate charge shall be entitled to be heard at the hearing.

A copy of the meeting agenda and proposed Rate Schedule will be published on the Franklin Township Sewerage Authority website, www.ftsa-nj.org.
