TASKMASTER® TM14032D OR EQUIVALENT
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Franklin Township Sewerage Authority at the office of the Authority, 70 Commerce Drive, Somerset, New Jersey 08873 for a TASKMASTER® TM14032D OR EQUIVALENT at 10:00 A.M. prevailing time, July 26, 2022 and will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter. A fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) shall be required to receive a copy of the Specifications.
Specifications may be obtained from the Authority, 70 Commerce Drive, Somerset, New Jersey 08873 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Bids shall be completed on the proposal form furnished by the Authority and be submitted to the Authority at its above stated address in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside of the envelope, addressed to the Authority and marked TASKMASTER® TM14032D OR EQUIVALENT on the outside of the envelope.
All bids must be accompanied by a guarantee payable to the Franklin Township Sewerage Authority that the bidder will enter into a contract to complete the work or furnish the services, goods and for materials and/or equipment, and will furnish a performance bond as a guarantee or indemnification. The guarantee shall be in an amount equal to ten (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00), and may be given by certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond. The Surety Company must have at least a B+ rating by A.M. Best Company and be acceptable to the Authority.
The attention of all bidders is called to the provisions of all State and Federal laws having applicability hereto. Specifically, but without limitation, bidders shall be required to comply with the provisions of C. 127, P.L. 1975, being N.J.S.A. 10:5-31(relating to equal opportunity); C. 198, P.L. 1971, being N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-18 (use of American goods where available); and, C. 33, P.L. 1977, being N.J.S.A. 52: 25-24.2 (ownership disclosure where applicable).
